Women Designing Their Future with Fashion

The aim of the ‘Women Designing Their Future with Fashion’ project was to introduce employment opportunities in the field of fashion design to unemployed young women in the activities to be carried out with the inclusion of 39 young people and 6 group leaders between the ages of 18 and 30 from 5 countries, and to provide new skills to increase their employability and entrepreneurship in this field. Young people who participated in the project presented a business idea and a 6-month business plan as a result of Entrepreneurship Workshops, participants were introduced to employment and entrepreneurship opportunities in the field of fashion design, and prepared Learning Goals Map for their skills that will increase their entrepreneurship in the field of fashion design. 5 different good practices were examined and experiences of individuals who are experts or have initiatives in the field has shared their experience. And, a booklet including the contents, outputs and participatory experiences of the workshops of the project  was produces to reach more people from the target group, and the participants met with successful women in order to inspire young people, thus, they were encouraged to have the confidence to create change, Also, the participants were informed of the Erasmus+ program in order to learn how to benefit from employment and entrepreneurship support.
